Mark Burger was born in Santa Monica, California and grew up in the Westchester community of Los Angeles. Mark attended Loyola High School and then went to Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, where he graduated in 1980.

In 1985 Mark, along with Ronald Recht, founded Pacific Development Partners, LLC (PDP), a diversified real estate investment and development company that has established a reputation for conservative leverage, innovative thinking and creative solutions for meaningful community development. The

company has developed or acquired in excess of one hundred ten (110) properties comprising almost 4.5 million square feet and 2,200 multi-family units, PDP maintains offices in Brentwood and Orange County, CA.

As co-founder and managing member of PDP, Mr. Burger directs the investment and development activities of the firm. He and his partner Mr. Ronald Recht manage all aspects of company’s activities including identifying opportunities; determining strategies for the company, and its properties and developments; coordinating and implementing projects; and managing its lending and investor relationships.

Mark lives in Malibu, CA and enjoys golf, keeping up with global trends, working out and along with his wife Susan loves entertaining friends and neighbors featuring high quality food and wine.
